
Teri Lynn Hatcher was the daughter of Teri Hatcher, who was born in Palo Alto California on December 8 1964. Her mother Esther was an engineer at Lockheed Martin computer programmer, and her father Owen was an electrical engineer and nuclear physicist. Teri was born by Esther. Teri studied ballet at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain and was given the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher graduated from De Anza College, where she was a mathematician and engineer. She also took acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri acknowledged that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone abused her sexually at the age of five. She helped Santa Clara County prosecutor with their case against Stone. Stone was responsible for the suicide of a 14 year old victim. Stone was sentenced in prison for four counts of pleading in guilty pleas to molestation. In prison, he passed away from colon cancer.
