Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She is one of the three siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically talented child when she began two grades when she was five. She graduated with a high school diploma from Saegertown in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. She also competed winning in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to take on a job as an actress. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe she was able to spend a whole year in Milano and Paris. However, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion and modeling in Europe she decided to pursue acting in Europe while she was there. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success at the age of 20.
