Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly hip-hop tracks that addressed sexuality and racial identities with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to increasing her presence in Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came in the form of the trumpet. Later, she began hip-hop and classical training. In her schooling, she specialized in journalism and woman's studies. She studied Mandarin for a while in Beijing. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she shifted her focus to music. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an online hit, and it was featured in her debut LP Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef song and the winking NYC Bitchecity tour. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in 2015, which was a different initiative. Alongside having a book published as well, she also worked as a singer. As well as early shows, such Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP In Fina We Trust.
